Our 100 mesh filter wire mesh is a precision woven screening medium engineered for industrial filtration, particle separation, and inline straining duties where consistent aperture definition and dependable mechanical stability are required. The woven wire geometry provides uniform flow-through characteristics and supports repeatable performance in applications that demand controlled particle capture while protecting downstream equipment such as pumps, control valves, heat exchangers, and process piping.
A fine-mesh product like 100 mesh is commonly selected when suspended solids, debris, or unwanted particulate must be reduced to maintain process efficiency and product integrity. The woven structure is designed to maintain stable, repeatable openings under typical handling and operating conditions. This helps minimize aperture variability that can occur with loosely constructed screens, improving the reliability of particle retention during service.
In industrial filtration systems, the screen is often exposed to cyclic flow, vibration, and differential pressure. Our Dutch-weave/precision woven wire construction is intended to deliver strong structural integrity while maintaining filtration geometry. This support reduces the likelihood of deformation that can lead to uneven filtration results, bypassing, or premature screen wear.
304 stainless steel is widely used for general industrial filtration where corrosion exposure is moderate. It offers excellent overall performance for wet and process applications.
316 stainless steel is recommended for harsher environments, including chloride exposure, coastal installations, aggressive chemical process streams, and more demanding wet-service conditions. The enhanced corrosion resistance helps support longer service life and more stable filtration performance over time.

Inline strainer / filter screens
Installed in piping systems to remove solid contaminants from liquids such as:
water and process water, chemical solutions, hydraulic fluids, oil and lubricants
Common for protecting pumps, control valves, heat exchangers, and meters.
Protection for downstream equipment (coarse-to-fine filtration stage)
Used as a protective barrier upstream of sensitive components, helping reduce:
wear and abrasion, clogging and fouling, premature failure of downstream filters/valves
Industrial sieving and particle screening
Used to separate or control particle size in processes such as:
powder/fluid handling (when a slurry or suspension is involved)
product screening before further processing
debris removal during maintenance or production steps
Process filtration in chemical and corrosive environments
Especially relevant when using 316 stainless steel, including applications involving:
chloride exposure, cleaning chemicals, mildly corrosive process streams
(316 is commonly selected to improve corrosion resistance and service life.)
